Ben Boots, P. Eng.

Ben has been a member of the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Corporation Board of Directors since 2017. He brings a wealth of water treatment supply and treatment plant expertise.

Ben has been a Senior Engineer with Stantec, consulting on municipal water supply and treatment projects, and completing numerous waterworks system assessments. He has extensive experience in working with the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant and has been the Plant Superintendent and the Plant Engineer.

Ben has participated on a number of boards including: Councillor, Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS); Board Member, St. Anthony’s Home; Board Chair, Providence Hospital, Providence Place for Holistic Health Inc. ; member, St. Joseph's Parish Council, Moose Jaw.

Ben is currently the Principal and Owner of Spring Creek Consulting, which provides consulting engineering services in the area of water supply and treatment, to small and medium-sized municipalities and utilities.

Ben received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in 1979.
